Ensuring that anyone whom we can have the honor of participating in their conversion/re-dedication has support and connection to a local church body.
Local church and community involvement is essential to accomplishing our mandate. Here are areas that you can get involved.
Each local church or serving body is asked to provide at least one representative to the crusade planning committee. Additional teams will be created from that body.
James 5:16 says 'The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.' We need your prayers! Commit to praying for souls to be saved.
Commit to following up with each individual that is given to your team. Contact info will be provided.
Advertising, Venue, contact documentation will all require a financial investment. Each church body is asked to recieve an offering for the crusade.
After living in Rutherford County for the past 10 years and seeing the moral and social decline, that all of America is faced with, ravaging our neighborhoods; it became evident that we must do something different. There are many good churches in this county, as well as, many Jesus loving Faith filled believers. Our heart for the lost must be stirred.
Habakkuk says "Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it" I am writing this here that we may all read it and run with the Lord's blessing. We must, as God's people, come together and reach the dying and lost of Rutherford county. Here is the vision:
Initially a Strategy Team would be comprised of a representative from each church or supportive body. Our goal would be to identify target areas or neighborhoods to reach out to with a direct door to door campaign.
Made up of volunteers from different congregations and walks of life. Using the target maps developed by the Strategy team we would effectively cover the entire county with an outreach of Love and Compassion. The goal would be to get a commitment to attend the Crusade meeting.
Preferably we would acquire either the Forest City Paladium or the Forest City Owls Stadium. We are currently in discussions with a National Recording Artist for leading Worship. A festival event atmosphere is preferable in that it is not as uncomfortable for non-believers. WE MUST ATTRACT THE LOST!
Each associated body would be asked to provide a number of team mates to operate as "Connection Team" members during the Crusade. Their role would be to meet, excort and gather contact information for those who recieve Christ or rededicate their lives back to Him.
Contact information will be distributed to each church body in rotation unless there is a direct point of contact with a particular church. Our goal would be to find a church home for each person that they would find the support for growing in their new walk with Christ.
